Two engagement tracks, with the same operating style: production work, clear governance, and systems built to run in practice.
Contracting
I take on specialist data engineering engagements for government and enterprise teams working in Azure and Databricks environments. Recent work has covered analytics platforms, pipeline engineering, and governed AI workflow enablement.
NHVR — data engineering and Databricks-based AI workflow enablement, helping move teams from chat-style tooling toward governed, embedded workflow systems.
ADHA — data engineering for My Health Record analytics platforms using Databricks, ADF, and Delta Lake.

Consulting
I start with the business goal, not the tool. The AI system is designed around what the business is trying to achieve — then built with the governance to make it trustworthy and operational.
Recent consulting work has included a digital agency, a medical clinic, and an accounting firm, with delivery framed around business outcomes rather than chatbot demos.
I do not hand off a spec and disappear. I build systems that can be operated, monitored, and trusted.
About
I'm a Brisbane-based Lead Data Engineer working across government, enterprise, and AI workflow implementation.
My contracting work focuses on Azure and Databricks delivery: analytics platforms, pipeline engineering, and governed AI workflow systems that need to operate inside real organisational constraints. I am currently contracted with NHVR, following previous contract delivery with ADHA.
Engineering discipline, data science training, and broad commercial experience shape how I approach delivery: as systems that have to work in the real world, not just in architecture diagrams.
On the consulting side, I implement governed AI workflows for professional services businesses. I start with the business goal — not the tool — and build AI systems designed around what the business is actually trying to achieve, with the governance to make them trustworthy and operational.
